This past October, I served as the sound designer for the 7th annual UCSD Haunted Maze. This project required a massive collection of my artistic and technical skills, building a 30+ speaker setup over 10 different rooms, composing and mixing unique soundscapes for each room, programming MIDI footswitches to trigger audio cues and OSC commands in QLab to coordinate with lighting, and finally routing playback to 23 different channels. The result was a record-breaking event that saw over 1400 students entering over the course of two days.
